Yeah, definitely. I think that one's a converter issue (from back when they only had blue/red/yellow arrows).

Just thought it'd be funny to dredge up this post and look at all the rage targeted at the color rolls now that this song is out.

Edit: And now to actually contribute to this thread: There are some minor color errors in the ending of Evil Approaches. I think it's the same problem RATv2 has in that 32nds are the color of the previous note. FINALLY fixed that booflag I had on it, though.

As I assume some people might have said whether in or out of this thread, Delirium should not be changed A. For nostalgia's sake and B. the color-switching fits the psychedelic nature of the song.

pretty sure you can add ass anchor to the 2nd portion since I used colour gimmicks for the vocals

If nothing else, NeoMAX and Delerium should stay how they are.

I like the way NeoMAX flushes all red towards the end, it's a cool effect and makes the ending challenging. Delerium I -always- thought was intentional because, hey, -DELERIUM-

"Legacy" songs with backgrounds/animations such as NeoMAX and Delirium I would be fine with leaving as is. I added Delirium to the "wrong but not worth changing" category.

Stuff like Rondo Alla Turca V2 though would only improve the consistency of the game and clean up the chart without detracting from the experience. Why not change them?

It's not even because they are legacy. With the name Delerium, some strange mind-tweaking weirdness in the file is perfect, and Neomax also always looked intentional coming at the end like that.

Agreed with the first half, personally I think even the old songs should be fixed (colors and sync). Those songs are just bad, barely playable, and just plain sloppy.

I apply my thinking to both arrow colors and syncing - if it will be better with a touch up or a rework, do it. Refinement is progress.

The three in the "not worth changing due to legacy" are there because the incorrectness is part of the file's identity. In that sense, they belong in the Legacy genre with blue note files.

The other ones are simply minor conversion errors. Few people would even notice if they were changed, but for people like me who pay attention to these things and take rhythm cues from arrow colors, it would make a minor but noticeable difference.

They don't belong in legacy though. Every file with "Not 100% synced and colour-mapped arrows" doesn't automatically have to be dumped from the ranklists and hidden away in a corner.

I don't know how you check what colours they should be (maybe just stepfile experience?), but it definitely feels like a good majority of the song should be 16s. Maybe it's just really high BPM? I don't know. n.n

ASB just has a doubled BPM of 280 instead of 140. Nothing weird there. There are other files (like Kidney Stone, HWG, and NNT, just off the top of my head) that have similar coloring schemes - it's really up to the stepartist there.
