Yeah, but I have faith that she can do it.
She is a really good player and I don't think anyone realizes quite what she is capable of. Trust me.

I got my internet connection fixed for now. I'll update whatever needs to be updated at this point.

Also, wow, thanks a ton for the huge donation, Funmonkey! We'll definitely have to get some bonus rounds up soon.

Just noticed this. There were only two people that we decided to place in beginner that signed-up for this tournament. However, those two people had already signed-up for this tournament knowing that intermediate was the lowest division. Therefore, there was no need for a beginner division when it was indirectly shown that the two people we would have been placed in beginner were accepting a lowest possible placement in intermediate. You would've been placed in intermediate either way, though.

Also, I see no problem with starting the intermediate division off on a mid-VD. The scores are telling me that song choices have been appropriate so far. If you guys are feeling like your abilities are being pushed further than normal, then that's excellent. We want to try to challenge everybody in the best way we can.

Yes! Yes! YES!!!

I never knew how much playing "mirror" would help out. I managed to get out of the 20-200 good range and end up in the 10-20 good range (and always 1 boo haha). Then I just had a fluke run where I only got 2 goods! It's even better than my best run on it before the tourney. I just may go to the next round now

like norse has already pointed out, the first round song should be something everyone in the division can pretty easily AAA, this round is to eliminate non-submitters....usually advanced's first song is a lvl 8. the first rounds song is something i have no chance AAAing.

these tournaments are gettin so annoying gah

Eh, I don't really follow that policy of "The first round should contain a song everyone can AAA." Seeing the majority of a division AAA a song convinces me that the song wasn't challenging enough for the division. The intention here isn't, "Race to the AAA!" It's to create a competitive atmosphere and actually challenge the participants in the process. It's not like I don't want to see people AAA the song. I just want to see them work hard to AAA it. Tiebreakers are not there to be reached, and they mainly occur due to a large amount of AAAs. Also, eliminating non-submitters has no significance to whether or not the song is easy to AAA. Non-submitters are...non-submitters. They'll be eliminated regardless of the song choice. Really, the song isn't painfully tough for you guys. It is just not going to be a breeze, so no complaining. You won't get better at playing FFR if you don't challenge yourself.

in pretty much every tourney ive been in, the 1st round isnt MEANT to be challenging. sure the 2nd round can be hard, then so on and so forth...but if you were intending a lvl 8 as your first song, you shouldve made a beginner division.
