Re: What's your FFR Style?
a friend of mine joined a cs:go clan when he was 12 or 14 and when he asked what keybind he should use for push to talk they jokingly replied "left bracket"
he became the fastest left bracketer the world had ever seen |

Re: What's your FFR Style?
im decent at streaming and JS. i honestly have no idea how i got there because i used to be really bad at it. ummm, experience with the game?
bursts and breakbeat songs (ex flashbulb and terminal 11) i've always been good at for some reason. when i say good i mean okay on D6 standards. trills are okay as long as i know where in the song they are and i'm expecting them. sightreading trills never goes well. jacks are death. off beat jacks are worse. long jacks that go on for 20-30 seconds are even worse. jacks where you have to swap between the jacks and more jacks and mini jacks while being off beat for 20-30 seconds are the worst of all. at the end of the day, jacks always have and always will be my downfall, and i'm okay with that because i hate them too much to practice them more than once or twice a day. edit: almost forgot, my stamina is abysmal. can't play 4 minutes straight of JS like most people at D6. idk how they do it.

Re: What's your FFR Style?
I'm pretty good at jumpstreaming and freeform rhythms, my eyes and fingers are fast enough to process and understand high difficulty charts (-+, Fanteucpx[zv, grind2, etc.)
My weakest point is definitely jacks, I'm ok with mini jacks but my fingers aren't fast enough to tap repeatedly like that, which ruins me when it comes to songs like Turbo and MANIERA (and the long jack at the start of fanteu sometimes) I also have trouble with consistency, I can do well on a song one day but then I can't even get under 100 goods a few hours later

Re: What's your FFR Style?
main skill is speed/bursts; i can usually PA bursts up to like 480 if they're under 30 notes or so (not those ridiculous 1234123412341234 patterns because those are a "skill" nowadays smh)

Re: What's your FFR Style?
technical jacky/rolly/dumb shit is easily my best skillset
speed is my worst by miles; I have literally no trill speed stamina also near the bottom |

Re: What's your FFR Style?
left hand trilling/jacking is my weakness but i'm slowly developing muscle memory and stamina for it now
people find it weird that i can play any chart no matter how offsync it is or if there's no sound, even. i'm a visual player so i just calculate the timing of my fingers based on distance of arrows and process long patterns in blocks of "instructions" to tell me when i use a specific finger for the corresponding key |

Re: What's your FFR Style?
i am literally horrible at jumpstream. my scores on jumpstream files are laughable. also my stamina is F--------.
i'm ok at rolls/bursts/trills/jacks. not like great or anything, but if i had to pick a pattern i'm good at, it'd be in one of those. |
