Re: The FFR Trading Card Game (C34)
Challenge 35A
Pass 5 different songs on rates above 1.0x and 5 different songs on rates below 1x. You may not play the same song for both fast and slow rates. If you cannot play rates, send me a PM and you will receive an alternative challenge. There are no tier goals this challenge. Completion will let you pick any tier pack. Challenge 35B You may complete this challenge along with 36A and receive a second tier pack. Click here to play the Onigirl DDR game. Pass this Onigirl song! I'm sure you guys will recognize the song. If not, you never played FFR before. Once again no tier goals. Just pass and show login stuff when submitting. Keep checking the thread over the course of this special week for more surprises! You'll never know what'll happen!

Re: The FFR Trading Card Game (C34)
Standard Plus. That was surprisingly fun. (After I realized I couldn't use E R O P as my keybinds.) At first I thought it was going to be an FFR port. I think I found FFR on Kongregate originally as a really small version of the game. |

Re: The FFR Trading Card Game (C35)
Two off from the double double. Shame. Shame.
Scavenger hunt is over!!!! Now I need to do the other challenge. I'm curious: What would one need to do to join event staff for FFR? Not really considering it but I wonder. |

Re: The FFR Trading Card Game (C35)
Fundy packs are available today! No guys, those packs were not shipped last night from the factory. Considering we hold them for people that chip into the event, we don't run out. So yeah. No factory errors on fundy packs. I promise!

Re: The FFR Trading Card Game (C35)
Is it 0.5x inclusive? Cause I'm assuming 1.0x isn't inclusive since that's normal speed. And I also played 5 songs on 0.5 and it was painful. I don't wanna have to play them again on 0.4x.

That's an error too. Below 1x, not 0.5x.

Re: The FFR Trading Card Game (C35)
Standard + again. Had to do an extra two slow songs since the first one I accidentally forgot a screenie and the second didn't copy.. Last song I played I could feel something crawling on my arm and out of desperation I finished the song. Thankfully it turned out to be just an ant. Last edited by scoper49; 09-5-2015 at 01:26 AM.. |

Re: The FFR Trading Card Game (C35)
The next challenge should involve the new scroll directions, just for lulz. They're so whack. Anyone tried playing with them yet?

Re: The FFR Trading Card Game (C35)
That's a really good idea. As long as it doesn't require FC or anything. Like.. Pass a song from each direction maybe. The last time I tried was before FFR servers went offline for a couple years. o_o Man, FFR has a history. I do know that cross direction is really weird.

Re: The FFR Trading Card Game (C35)
Ok so, obviously these packs are a rare breed of factory errors. Apparently S+ packs give you between 2 and 5 cards. Quality can give you below T4 from what it seems. Not sure what the rest of the packs have in them. Next week's shipment of packs should be fine as I've contacted the factory manager about the issue. For now though, enjoy anything that comes out of your packs, because it might not be as advertised!

Re: The FFR Trading Card Game (C35)
Let me elaborate. You hosted a Player Appreciation Week for keeping this thing running, which is extremely nice, and then had the idea to have this Factory "Malfunction" gimmick involved during Player Appreciation Week to where the experience that you were originally trying to make is tossed out.
The question arises, why did you do it this way? It seems extremely counterproductive of the first experience you tried to generate. Also, I believe there is a loophole but it's unconfirmed right now. You should be able to just do these challenges, hold on to your packs (do not open packs), and just wait out this "Malfunction". If that can't happen, then I'm extremely disgruntled at the idea to give back to the playerbase just to give them all the middle finger in front of their faces by screwing over their worked-on pack(s) (And apparently, you're only fucking over a few people so far). /end rant/

Re: The FFR Trading Card Game (C35)
The week only just started. There's a LOT more to come!
I've gotten a call from the factory and they told me that apparently some of the more uncommonly picked packs had some of the better error'd packs. So yeah, rumor says that the reroll packs accidentally got packed with 5 cards and some gamble packs may have more than 5 cards. S+ has been pretty iffy about card counts as well and quality, may not be so much quality. I'll be heading out now, but when I get home tonight expect something cool.
