Re: [SM5][WIP] spawncamping-wallhack
A rather limited number of them.
Avatars act as a button to bring up the overlay for changing avatars, the individual scores on the scoreboard in eval acts as a button to toggle views, but that's it for now. (Also mouse functions only work on windows apparently)

Re: [SM5][WIP] spawncamping-wallhack
Several somewhat-significant changes to the theme now.
Global: - Slightly lighter red color for hard difficulty as it was hard to see against a dark background. ScreenSelectMusic: - Tabs no longer toggle when <Select> is pressed. Instead, pressing keys 1~5 on the keyboard will select the corresponding tab (when available). - Pressing <EffectUp>+<EffectDown> will no longer bring up the overlay for switching avatars. Pressing <Select> twice in a row will bring up the overlay now. (Otherwise, everything works the same way as before for avatars.) - The Scores tab has been added and enabled. The user also can sift through all the saved scores sorted by the rate mod that has been used. Pressing <EffectUp> or <EffectDown> will scroll through the saved score for the selected rate. Pressing <EffectUp> or <EffectDown> while holding <Select> will scroll through the available rate mods. (AKA: same stuff i did for ultralight edit but sortable by rates, and sorts properly based on the scoretype being used.) ScreenEvaluation: - The Scoreboard scores now uses the theme's scoretype preferences instead of being fixed to percentage scoring. - The Scoreboard now only displays scores that matches the current rate mod being used. - The Scoreboard now sorts the scores properly based on the scoretype being used. NOTE: By default, StepMania will only save up to 3 personal scores to your profile (and lower ranked scores will be removed when the limit is exceeded). To change this, go to "Arcade Options" and change "Max Player Scores" to a higher value.

Re: [SM5.0.8+][WIP] spawncamping-wallhack
So I changed a couple of options after song select (added the scoring graph and the error bar) and got this:
And when the song started the whole UI except for the arrows and background disappeared lol

Re: [SM5.0.8+][WIP] spawncamping-wallhack
Hmm I'll look into it now.
(I'll edit this post afterwards) EDIT: Check whether if your ghostscore is enabled in the player options. The graph inherits settings from that and turning it off caused things to blow up. I'll push the fixes in a few minutes. EDIT2: Fix has been pushed. Just download it off of github again o/... The graph will now inherit the scoretype set by the theme if the ghostscore settings are set as off. (And finally, thanks for reporting..!)

Wow, thanks so much for the quick fix! I'll report back if I run into any more problems.
Great work!

Re: [SM5.0.8+][WIP] spawncamping-wallhack
Sorting scores by rate is now togglable in Theme Options. (Enabled by default)
EDIT: apparently it wasn't enabled by default, changed it back now.

Re: [SM5.0.8+][WIP] spawncamping-wallhack
I have a request, if you take those: would it be possible to add cdtitles to the results screen?
Also to add a shortcuts list? I know if you hold F4 a bunch of stuff comes up but it would be handy to have something pop up with a list of extra shortcuts that might be handy.

CDTitles I can probably add those in given there's room left over in the eval screen. (If there's no room I'll probably make them as mouse rollovers) For the shortcuts menu, I always wanted to add them in since the hotkeys used for various functions aren't exactly obvious. But I'm not exactly decided on how I'm going to add them in yet.

Re: [SM5.0.8+][WIP] spawncamping-wallhack
Finally tried the theme, which made me realise how much I've been spoiled by recent themes:
- ScreenSelectMusic: Being able to close the current folder is something that's really convenient. For key combination I prefer Up+Down to Left+Right+Start, largely because I can do the former with one hand. Of course, if on a 3-button machine that may not be an option. - The options screen seems rather barren. I've always found being able to see the BPM on that screen useful, and today I realised just how much I've been relying on it. Also, Save Scores is duplicated. - ScreenResult: Seeing the target score on there would be nice. Now for the things I like: - I like the display of average score next to the judgement, especially since this is basically the only place I look when I'm playing, so I can focus on it easily. - Error bar, although it really should be aligned with my side at the very least. - Scrolling through past scores. Overall, I am quite impressed so far. Keep up the good work! |

Also, I won't be considering arcade cabinets at all with this theme so buttons won't be an issue. Quote:
Also by Save Scores being duplicated, I'm assuming you're talking about that option showing up in both player and song options? If so, the song option wasn't supposed to be showing at all. Something probably got changed in fallback with 5.0.9. Quote:

And thanks for the feedback..!

Re: [SM5.0.8+][WIP] spawncamping-wallhack
Few changes today:
ScreenSelectMusic: - Users can now mouse left-click on the tab to switch to the corresponding tab. - Added a help overlay with just the commands for the theme-specific functions for now. (people that uses consensual should be familiar) By default, it will pop up on the screen after 30 seconds of inactivity. It can be disabled in Theme Options. Alternatively, you can just press F12.

Re: [SM5.0.8+][WIP] spawncamping-wallhack
SMO screens are somewhat usable now.
Not going to bother touching these screens again unless something breaks horribly.

Re: [SM5.0.8+][WIP] spawncamping-wallhack
I'm loving these new updates since I've been wanting to get into SMO :P
But for some reason, my mouse cursor disappears when I go into fullscreen mode. I can still see the song background move when I slide my mouse around, though. Is there a way to get my mouse cursor to show up? Especially since your click features are in and the mouse rollover might be a thing, it'd be super cool to have. |

Re: [SM5.0.8+][WIP] spawncamping-wallhack
Check your Preferences.ini and turn ShowMouseCursor to 1.

Re: [SM5.0.8+][WIP] spawncamping-wallhack
New font. Hopefully it's not too drastic of a change from open sans.
Doubleres versions of the font are not available right now because I had to edit some of the glyphs manually. (some lower case characters like "g" were being cut off.)

Re: [SM5.0.8+][WIP] spawncamping-wallhack
Small update since pso2 is on maintenance..:
ScreenGameplay: Added a NPS Counter that will be displayed during gameplay. You can enable them in player options. It will take the flying average of the notes encountered in a certain time frame and display the current average as well as the highest peak NPS value encountered so far. (It's literally like the NPS counter you can find in other themes. But, the ones I've seen so far either fails to take chords into account, or seems to just count the notes within a measure instead.) The time window used for the flying average is set to 5 seconds by default. It can be changed in Theme Options. Larger windows result in more stable averages but changes very slowly during sudden changes like during breaks or bursts. And the opposite will result for smaller windows.

Dang it, I literally just downloaded the last update lol.
Thank you so much for your dedication to the theme, dude. It's great.

Re: [SM5.0.8+][WIP] spawncamping-wallhack
Just wanna say I've been using this theme for quite a while now and I'm loving what's been done so far. Looking forward to the full release.
