Weird things you do/habits with food.

I take bites out of Oreos, no separate wafers.

I cut up meats and stab the pieces with a knife to bring them to my mouth.

When eating cereal, I have the bowl of cereal and milk and at the table. Then in arms reach, the box of cereal open and the carton of milk out. When I finish the bowl, I then put the cereal box and milk back where they belong.

I dump certain bagged foods (Cheetos, Trail Mix) into my mouth instead of using my hands.

i write with my left hand but eat with my right hand

I am literally the only person I know who does this.... does anyone else do that?

Hmm, let's see:

When I eat cereal, I have to let it sit for a few minutes. The bottom will get soggy but the top will stay crispy, and then I proceed to eat spoonfuls containing an equal mixture of crunchy and soggy cereal. Then when most of the cereal is eaten and mostly milk remains, I proceed to drink the milk and cereal down. I can't eat cereal any other way.

When I eat with chopsticks, I absolutely insist on eating every last bit of food with it. If that means picking individual grains of rice in my bowl for the next 10 minutes, so be it.

I *hate* most common condiments. This includes ketchup, mustard, pickles, relish, most dipping sauces, etc. This is contrasted by the fact that I enjoy eating foods that repulse most people I know (octopus, pig's feet, fish sauce, pretty much anything raw, kimchi, fish eye soup, etc).

ANY and EVERY meal I eat, I mix EVERYTHING into one jumbled mess and then eat it. Nothing gets eaten individually.

Obviously not the most quirky thing.... but considering many people I know can't stand when one part of a meal touches another and I'm sure the same applies to at least a few of you, I had to put it out there.

Not sure if this one has already been mentioned, but I eat biscuits like Digestives and Jaffa Cakes upside down (As in chocolate side down, even though it's supposedly eating them the right way a lot of people don't).

I used to for religious like reasons but it hurt my head to do so so I stopped

American condiments were frowned upon by asian flavors (if we can consider fish sauce a condiment) (and what's with the list of food, most of that is normal) were okay. So it honestly depends if Bynary is in fact a born and raised asian.

Example: It's bad manners to leave a grain of rice in your bowl after you're done eating.
Counter Argument: No person who uses chopsticks to eat all their lives takes 10 minutes to pick loose grains of rice out of a bowl.

I eat with my left hand, that's not related but oh well.
But if I eat a piece of drumstick (aka chicken leg), I would keep chewing the bones, sometimes put some ketchup on it.

I'm not Asian, and I just never liked traditional condiments by themselves. It also helps that I was exposed to a lot of more exotic foods growing up as my dad's side of the family is from Colombia, and they tend to eat a lot of non-traditional foods that Americans usually turn their noses up to. Liking Asian foods and condiments is just a personal preference.

However, picking all the rice grains out is more an OCD thing, really. I definitely haven't eaten with chopsticks all my life so it can sometimes take a while lol.

I eat almost everything with a fork/knife because I have almost a phobia of touching food/getting it on my face. I can do it when necessary, but i have to wipe my hands/face immediately or else I start cringing.

When I make sandwiches, I have to smash it down to as thin as I can, just easier to eat.
I also eat my burgers and sandwiches upside down.
I eat only the middle of Oreo's, I don't like the wafer part.
I put an obnoxious amount of salt on my fries and I can't eat them without it.
When I eat peanuts, I suck off all the salt, chew the shell/nuts and then spit it out.
Oh and when I eat hotdogs, I try to avoid the bread as much as possible and end up with 96% of the bread wasted.

I will not eat any form of meat like that if it doesn't have at least some element of bun in each bite
