I can't math so, here's a pile of screenshots. Ignore what's useless.

Quick question: Does a booflag equal the AAA score on Banned Forever? They're both 100% somehow.

I just put them all in for reference, and it's kind of hilarious anyways, really crushes the soul of the other players o.O

It most certainly does not, it's a rounding error.
101145/101150 = 99.99506%

In terms of ranking points, it's a difference of about .005 points

Speaking of, your score on Resistance 4 is worth 116.56 points, while J'ai Envie de Plaisir X2 is worth 116.44.

Yuuup! Your Banned Forever is worth 114.8, vs 113.2 for Washamanoose's OP.

Also, updated through post #150

So even with this formula, if a person got AAAs on a 12 every round, wouldn't a person who AAA'd a 60 every round still win? Other than that I can't wait to get the chance to play some songs.

The question has been asked before, see post #54.

But the answer is yes, but on the bright side, you're playing with 60 people, rather than like 5-10.

That seems fair.

Also I did the math, the difference between an AAA on the 12 and an AAA on the 91 is 1381.434529 points apart. So while it's not a huge gap, I just wanted to ask about it.

Plus sorry about asking again.

You might want to check your decimal point. Also, I have several tools in place so that you don't have to do the math.

Ex: In the original post, I have a table just under the formula to give you a comparison of different RP values for different scores on different difficulties.

Exx: On the second page of the spreadsheet, at the top of each song is the max RP possible for that song. Note, for Shade it is 104.302, for J'ai Envie de Plaisir X2 118.116, a difference of 13.814.

And so, I think your question could be more specific, but what I think your asking is, why is there a difference of x, rather than a difference of y. And there really is no good explanation. The system is based on a few statistical experiments I did with my own scores, plus having worked on the Zenith score, and I went with what felt right at the time. In a word, arbitrary.

And hey, I like questions. If you don't like asking them on the thread you can PM me, but this is very much on-topic.

You know what? I don't care if it's not an sdg, it's pretty close, and it's a lot better than the AAA an Washamoose's OP!!
