Remember the legacy engine? In the game, you can pick characters. If you hover above them, it makes a distinct sound. It's always been the same, and I never really paid any attention to it.

Well guess what

It came from a game called Motos. It is the sound triggered when you insert a coin, as seen here (about 0:30 in):

i fucking hated that noise because i'd accidentally scroll over the characters and it'd blow out my fucking ears because it was so loud and unexpected
