Re: The Songs of FFRmas
Forgot to remove that (23) 16th jack in Curtain, oops
EDIT: Razor's file really enjoyable even with how rigid it felt, was an empty part in the middle with an alternating pitch flute that I think could've had a little something there. Still great though. Haven't played Happy Meal yet Last edited by Gradiant; 12-19-2014 at 01:02 AM.. |

Re: The Songs of FFRmas
Wow well that sucks
Happy Meal was cool but there was a left hand thing near the end that involved a 32nd that was weird. Interesting idea for the file overall.

Re: The Songs of FFRmas
We've got the updated version, just gotta switch them out. Really sorry that happened. We try to make sure all updated versions are accounted for but every once in a while something gets missed.

Re: The Songs of FFRmas
When I first tested it, Tetris was a bit of an abomination ([12][12][23] jacks luis pls), but damn it cleaned up super well!
I really like the broken handstream part like a third of the way through the file, right before the 12ths, and the ending is just the right mix of climactic, trolly, and technically correct. The 12th section in the middle is tricky, but feels appropriate. Really fun file, I'll definitely enjoy trying to AAA this. Do think it's a tad overrated though, maybe more like 72-73? EDIT- had a chance to play Kodomoraibu, really enjoyable file. My complaints would be that the green hand was not bpm-fixed so it has a weird frame gap (not a huge deal) and that the ending placeholder note seems a little unnecessary (again not a huge deal) Overall, though the song isn't 100% my kind of thing, it's a really fun and nicely stepped.

Re: The Songs of FFRmas
I'd be comfortable with a 72. Most of Tetris is way easier than any of the other Powerglove songs in game. The only hard parts are the 12th note section and the ending (mostly because of how deep into the file you are by that point). Everything else is maybe a high VC at best.
73 would be pushing it. There's no way Tetris is as hard as Gotta Catch Em All. Fun file though, would play again. Last edited by gameboy42690; 12-20-2014 at 12:13 PM.. |

Re: The Songs of FFRmas
It'll probably be 73. The drifting is annoying enough to warrant a slight increase in difficulty from where it would otherwise end up (honestly to AAA it's probably a 75, but I could see D4-D5 players thinking it's way easier than that)

Re: The Songs of FFRmas
Toothless is one of the files for this event I was super excited for. I'm curious to see what others think about it. I think gameboy did awesome on it.
