I know I'm in the minority on this though.
I like no cardflipping games too. Cardflipping is a crutch.

If you take out cardflips as a villager I will literally never ever be convinced someone is village and I will just tunnel people entirely at random all game.

My point is it always favors wolves unless you just throw OP shit that has nothing to do with solving games in, in which case it's battle of the power roles and not TWG.

James May
wild goose chases are exactly why games without cardflipping are fun to me.

idk, no cardflipping is extremely frustrating to me personally, since there's no way for you to validate any claims ever

you have a bunch of people with "strong convictions" just shouting at each other, and there's no way to really GET anywhere with reasoning besides piecing together shitty observations

Last no cardflipping game we played was Drekk's revenge and humans won that one.

Seer psychic guardian is not that significant of a change from seer + cardflips in terms of it's ability to incriminate and clear, but it does give wolves a significan advantage if they get lucky hitting a psychic early as well as putting most of the onus of winning the game on 3/13 members of the team instead of the whole team

Seer guardian MW has always been a viable no cardflip game it just takes the fun out of it for most of the town.

The crutch argument is stupid it's not a crutch for play the mechanic makes it a different game. It's a question of how many people get to have information and does that make the game better for more people. Cardflips have never stopped me from winning when I'm woofing.

And if the influence of certain power roles is necessary for human victory game sucks you made a game for that power role to play and not the village

In short nothing is worse for the TWG community than a veteran player like me openin my PM to see that I'm a vanillager and going "well my impact is not going to matter lame" when vanillager is absolutely 100% my favorite role

Unless you are changing the set-up from the wiki both games have cardflips as every MS game does unless otherwise stated.

My personal problem with cardflipping is the dependence of most townies on the cop. I don't especially care about flips when there's not one.
