The system that has been decided on is a 1-20 difficulty system with files being ranked on a secondary 1-99 scale within these difficulties. Making a 1-15 system would almost pointless, considering that we are already utilising a 1-14 scale and the current ratio of 9/10/11/12 is 3:3:2:1, so effectively we'd be stretching the 9's and 10's over one extra difficulty slot. This new system has been well thought out and a lot of work has gone and will continue going into this with several people involved in making it happen. When the time comes, a sticky will be posted for user input and suggestions.

I am anticipating that it will be in place by mid-May.
