A suggestion for the new system: Get rid of the asterisks.
This actually serves an important function: Only one script has to be run to see if someone has met the requirement or not. The way it is now, the system is probably "did you get it? No? Okay, let's see if you came close enough for an asterisk." With this method, you either have a TP or you don't. This also allows the system to show accurate margins (how many more points one needs for the next TP).
