DossarLX ODI

32A5 - 6/10
- The first 15 measures have a lot of hidden 8th jacks which look messy, don’t fit, and there could be more pattern variety. The file in general has mostly the same patterns which make it drag on more than it should. [-2]
- When the 32nd rolls come in the BPM gets doubled in the file but it really is unnecessary. Just step it as 16ths rather than doubled BPM 8ths to make it easier to follow.
- Measure 25 you have trills to the 16th drums but then Measure 42 it’s just a roll. There are other cases of pattern inconsistencies but the important part here is to get more pattern variety – since there are a lot of similar patterns (if not the same in many sections) in this file it really stands out. [-1]

Ame no odoriko - 6/10
- Going along with the melody is a better choice than having all those jumps and hands (especially forming the jumpstreams). Measure 26 is a break section and you could just go along to the percussion here. [-2]
- The 16th minijacks in the file are inconsistent with the other gallops and in general look messy especially for such a calm song [-1]

Ascending Hands – N/A (my file)

Atop The World - 6/10
- It would be better to put a 4th jump at second 9.49 rather than the offsetted 48th note. The left note would then go to the soft sound you were stepping and then the right note would cover the other sound.
- Second 10.66 shouldn’t be a jump. The 4th note on 13.14 is basically at the same volume. I also recommend recoloring that note to a 4th note.
- The layering forces fast one handed gallops, sometimes within jumps, and there are many instances of very fast gallops and rolls with empty space. Rather than have all those one handed gallops just use a jump at this level of difficulty. Also, it is a better idea to minimize the jump usage in this song. The main piano is fine and you don’t have to layer the background piano – it makes the file’s difficulty forced. [-3]
- Recoloring the notes to standard colors (e.g. 4ths, 8ths) would work better than offsetted color notes
- Rather than stepping that color stream at the very end I suggest stepping the 4th note at second 64.28, then having the last note at the color stream be the placeholder note so the file ends when the song ends. Also recoloring is strongly recommend.

bluebird - 7/10
- Recolor all the 48ths to standard colors (4ths and 8ths) [-0]
- Measures 14-22 you can just follow the main piano melody with all single notes and then have 8th minijacks whenever there are bass kicks with 2 or more notes. Measuers 22-24 are the break section entering into the piano at Measure 24 (in which you should just step the piano until Measure 28 when the kicks start again). The 8th minijacks and jacks in measure 27 aren’t going to anything specific to warrant them so get rid of them. You also have this 8th minijack problem occurring throughout the file where it sometimes goes to the background bass kicks but then it doesn’t and it feels awkward to play through. Your jump usage also seems to be creating more of these minijacks, so reworking your layering could also make your file fit the song more. [-2]
- Measure 38 that 16th minijack is the only 16th minijack in the entire file and it stands out like a sore thumb. Remove it please

Cascata - N/A (my file)

Chaoz Impact - 5/10
- Measure 9 doubling the BPM would have made the file much friendlier to read for the player and it just makes the file look messier with more of the colors when it’s really just simple 8th rhythms [-1]
- The jump usage, especially in the beginning, makes little sense. [-1]
- It should be a little more clear as to what you’re trying to follow in the song. Focus on certain elements in the song so the 16th streams don’t feel like dumpy streams and instead emphasize something in the song. Also, remove the minijacks and 3-note jacks. I should mention in Measures 33-36 there is a 16th stream that’s basically not going to anything and it’s a break section as well. [-2]

Crucial - 5/10
- Going from measure 1-18 this part is way too soft for the jump usage you’re using. Also, you’re using jumps for one instrument which makes the layering incredibly forced. Also recolor this part to standard colors. [-1]
- All of the hidden 8th jacks, the jumpstream, and just the jumps in general make this file incredibly dumpy in feeling considering this is a very relaxing guitar-based song and the minijacks/jacks also are unnecessary forced difficulty. [-2]
- The jumps themselves emphasize the guitar and the attempted color theory just makes the file harder to read. [-1]

Distant Shots - 5/10
- 15 seconds of silence between the beginning ten notes and the start of the piano, then 10 seconds of silence between those three piano notes and the start of the guitar. Basically you have thirteen notes for the first 40 seconds of the song that have long gaps in between them and it is very unappealing. Start with a fade-in into the guitar part that starts at second 40.84 [-2]
- You step some barely audible guitar sounds and the jump usage is inconsistent as the pitch remains so similar that it’s out of place when you also have louder guitar strikes that should be accented with jumps. No jumps are needed in this file. [-2]

Down With the Sickness - 6/10
- The first four notes of the file aren’t entirely necessary. I’d personally remove them but there isn’t anything wrong with it
- Measures 5-8, stick with one pattern. It’s the same guitar sound and it’s very inconsistent and bothersome
- Measures 17-19, sudden change from jumps to accenting the vocalist to hands [-1]
- For the “oh wah ah ah ah” parts, even though the accented jumps work, just for the sake of not creating those difficulty spikes you can make it a trill. I suggest doing the same thing for the next point.
- Seconds 63.20 and 73.87, no jumps are needed. The vocals in this section are stepped as single notes and this is isn’t any more intense for not only jumps but a jumpjack that you put in [-1]
- Starting at Measure 37, rather than having the mix of minijacks and no minijacks to the higher sounds of the guitar I’d just follow the vocals here. Also, the jumps aren’t needed; you can just use pitch relevancy to put emphasis on those higher notes in this section if you really wanted to emphasize the higher sounds of the guitar.
- Measure 45 is where you start entering into a break section. It would be better to remove the jumps here and then on Measure 53 get back into stepping the vocals. Measures 60-61, sudden unnecessary quad usage; jumps would work fine to emphasize the intensity of the singer. Also, going back to the just the guitar after the quads leaves out all the vocalist’s potential in the section. [-1]
- For the ending, I’d just follow the vocalist. You could put jumps to “sick-ness” or figure out some other way to make this part work, but having that jumpstream in there just feels bland.

Dreadnought [Standard] – [PASS]

Eternity - 6/10
- Doubling the BPM would make this file much better to read/play through and would make the file look less messy considering at such a slow BPM there are color notes all over the place and that is inappropriate for a file of this difficulty. Also, the gallop at second 20.18 stands out in a bad way and should just be a single note. [-1]
- Simple solution to remove the minijacks in this file and open your file to more flexible pattern usage: turn the hands into jumps and the jumps into single notes. There is no justifiable reason to have layering this heavy for such a calm and soothing piece of piano music. [-2]
- Recolor the very ending so it appears as the notation of the rest of the file

EXODUS on vocal ver. - 6/10
- There’s a lot of overemphasizing in this file which causes for an uncomfortably big number of jumps, also creating jumpgluts that don’t reflect the song well at all. For the first 5 measures you could’ve just stepped the piano as single notes, and not stepped any hands. The 16ths in this song are also barely audible; those shouldn’t be stepped. The 8th jumpstream is also bland, leaves little room for patterns and creativity besides the attempts at accenting the vocals when it’s not even necessary. there are even seemingly random jumps. The 8th minijack usage should also be minimal, there are many spots where the patterns are really random and the hidden 8th minijacks don’t go with the song at all, some going to barely audible sounds or sounds that don’t warrant them. [-3]

Farscape - 4/10
- Measure 78 would have been a better place to start the file (starting with the guy’s speech on traveling at the speed of light). The file would then be a solid two minutes long with a section of the song that not only allows for more elements to step, but also reduce the repetitive melody you have for the first half of the file. [-2]
- The color theory attempted in this file is very forced and it’s better off just not having it. Are the offsetted 32nds supposed to be color theory too? It might just be accidental technical errors, but those 32nds actually have 16th placements instead so if that’s an attempt at color theory it is an entire 32nd off which is too much. [-1]
- Rather than having a lot of random patterns with 8th minijacks to the synthesizer melody, come up with a pattern scheme and make it more consistent. There are also seemingly random jumps which don’t focus on certain elements in the song. The offsetted synth parts are also a problem because they’re a mix of “color theory notes”, 32nds placed where there should be 16ths, and then 16th minijacks which spike up the difficulty. [-2]

Five Karots - 6/10
- Following the piano for the first 24 measures is a much better idea than putting hands and 16ths to hi-hats that are barely audible. Near the end of measure 25 is when you could start introducing the percussion, but the hands thing is overkill – even the jumps are a lot for a mellow song like this. Even then the hi-hats are barely audible so if you’re going to step them then 16ths should not be stepped. The file’s difficulty calls for a very easy file but the hands and the 16ths are too spiky. [-3]
- Recolor the ending color stream to the piano to standard colors

Help Me Find My Child Or The Gold - N/A (my file)

Kaepora Gaebora’s Message - 6/10
- Rather than creating all of the 16th minijacks and putting a jump every 4th note you can follow the melody and emphasize the louder drum hits with the jumps. Also you shouldn’t introduce the percussion until Measure 11 where the song starts to pick up its energy. [-3]
- The very last note is unnecessary since the song ends the note before anyways. It’s not that big of a gap in time

Kirlian Isles I - 7/10
- Recolor the file to standard colors. The color notes in this file were for syncing purposes. [-0]
- No jumps should be in this file at all. Second 77.95 remove all hands as well – and in this part of the file, considering it’s the end of the song and it’s very soft and slow, you should just step single notes to where you have the jumps and the hands. The 16ths in that part are barely audible and spike up the difficulty. [-2]
- Second 42.44: the 32nd gallop here is way off. There are 3 notes and the 32nd is too fast with what the violin is actually playing.

Midnight - 8/10
- I wish you did what you did in measures 25-40 to the rest of the file. The hands and heavy jump usage were overdoing it for this file’s difficulty. The vocals would’ve worked perfectly well with the jumps where the hands were. [-2]
- Second 160.66: Missing 4th note. Easy fix
- For the slowed BPM section it should’ve just been doubled the current values (32.5 to 65 and 65 to 130) especially considering the difficulty level of the file and how harder it is to read all of those colors [-1]
- I have to say I really liked the color theory application in this file however. The emphasis on the vocals was great and it was very organized. [+2]

Nekomimi Switch - 6/10
- What was done in Measures 35-50 would have been much better for Measures 11-26. Also for the melody sections such as Measures 3-10 the jumps aren’t needed; just make the 8th minijacks or 3 note jacks to the percussion as needed rather than the jumps. [-2]
- Second 34.25: Missing 4th note
- For Measures 50-66 I liked the idea of the 43214321 8th rolls but the pattern usage for that sound is inconsistent. [-1]

Pink Fluffy Unicorns Dancing on Rainbows - 7/10
- The file should start on measure 5 when the xylophone comes in. This way in measure 9 you can step the vocals rather than mix in the guitar’s barely audible 16ths. Same idea for Measure 29 after the pause. If you’re going to step the guitar, don’t step the 16ths; just pulse on the 8ths because the 16ths are barely audible when the xylophone and singer are more prominent. [-1]
- Measure 17 is when the music stops and the guy starts talking about unicorn stuff. Here rather than stepping color notes to all those sentences just step to the background guitar that starts second 35.64 – you can even keep the pink notes when the guys yell “pink” assuming it lands on the 8th notes (where you could mix it in with the guitar). I would really suggest not stepping what the man is saying at the speech section where he quizzes about unicorns. The rest of the file is 8th stream at a slow BPM with some 16th triplets here and there and then the color part is a tremendous difficulty spike in how hard it is to read. [-1]

Pure Innocent Skirt - 6/10
- I usually don’t comment on offsets but I was getting a lot of early greats and perfects. I changed to -1.261 for judging the file and that worked better; fix the offset [-0]
- There are several cases of misrhythms to Miku’s vocals and there is some random jump usage that needs to be fixed (particularly in the beginning). [-1]
- Remove the 16th minijacks and jacks in this file – the 4 note jack was very uncalled for. The last three 64ths are also misstepped; just make it a single note on the 4th since it’s the last note of the file and it doesn’t warrant a jump [-1]
- There also should be more consistency in how the vocals are patterned. There are 3-note offsetted 8th jacks, then to the same type of singing it gets broken up and not stepped as the 3-note 8th jack etc. [-1]

Reading For Days - 6/10
- The 16ths you step before Measure 17 are barely audible. The same problem also occurs at Measure 41 where you have a rest section but there is still jumpstream and the 16ths are barely audible. [-1]
- Jump usage in this file limits pattern usage and then there are several forced 16th minijacks along with the 12th jacks that have the 16th jump inside of them making for awkward one handed transitions, creating unnecessary difficulty spikes [-1]
- What would help this file immensely is removing the jumpstreams by simply focusing on certain elements of the song that are prominent rather than stepping the barely audible 16ths. Measure 17 is an example of when you can focus on the vocals entirely and it would turn out nice. Having the other barely audible 16ths in the file limits room for creativity; rather than stepping the jacks you can also just not layer the percussion as heavily and just focus on the dubstep components. [-1]

Rule of Threes - 6/10
- I would start the file on measure 5 where the higher piano starts.
- File is very overlayered and constantly switches back and forth between the background piano and the prominent piano – the jump usage is also random in certain places (especially the 12ths section in the beginning. Of course this isn’t the only instance). It stands out in a bad way with no set focus on how it’s used. Second 103.50 is when you have background piano that’s much softer than the higher piano but you use jumps again, not only switching back and forth but it also makes the file lack structure. I recommend using jumps more sparingly for this file. The switching makes the file lack structure. Also the 12th minijacks should also be removed. [-3]

Shade - 6/10
- Only use the jumps to accent the percussion or piano – there are cases like second 30.94 that occur throughout the file where there is a soft sound but it is stepped as a jump because of two low sounds and it’s inappropriate for this song’s softness. The hands are also overdoing it. [-2]
- Turn all the 64th gallops into jumps instead. Consider the file’s low difficulty. The attempted color theory is also inappropriate for this song; just use a jump instead to accent the piano in those spots. [-1]

SNSD – Hoot [AREIA Remix] - 7/10
- Second 28.90, 63.82, 71.32, etc.: Missing notes to the female vocals. Recheck what else you may have missed. Some of these missed notes are also inconsistent with the 3-note 8th jacks you stepped. Along with this, vary up the patterns more. I noticed a lot of [13] jumps in the beginning. [-1]
- You had something nice going one with those 3-note 8th jacks to the vocals but then it gets overwhelmed by the jumps and 8th streams with the 16ths. In the case of this file it would be better just to use jumps to accent certain elements; the 8th jumps at the end were alright. [-1]
- Song ends abruptly. The ending could have had a fade out or something.

Something’s Not Right - 6/10
- Double the BPM to make it more player friendly, especially at this level of difficulty [-1]
- The way the jumps are used don’t accurately reflect the emphasis on the piano’s intensity since there are cases of soft piano strikes that are stepped as jumps and then louder ones also stepped as jumps. Also, this file has 139 notes; having those hands in there is incredibly inappropriate for this difficulty. Remove the hands and change them to jumps (those are the most appropriate accents for this song too since the rest of the jumps are mostly softer notes). [-2]

Sunshine Rainy [Light] - 9/10
- The accenting in this file was great. [+1]
- Measures 35-39 are quite a difficulty spike for this file but it’s not extreme. However, the 16th going into the [23] jump in that section is a rather split-heavy transition for someone in this difficulty range
- Measure 66 those extra jumps are arbitrary and it’s the same melody going as before. Instead of those jumps you can vary up the patterns more. [-1]

Taking Wing - 5/10
- For the first 26 measures the only jumps should be the very first note and second 24.40 where the cymbal crashes are. After that you’re following the piano and the jumps are on notes that are the same volume. Also watch out for the forced difficulty and the difficulty spikes in this file. The one handed triplets, the part at second 66.57 where you have a 16th stream, and the 8th minijacks within the 4th jumps make the file very forced instead of playing to the song. Instead of the 16th stream you can step the 8ths to the melody, and then rather than the 8th jumpstream with a jump every quarter note follow the melody again. [-2]
- For this file you should just use jumps to accent the cymbal crashes. Layering in the less-prominent percussion adds a jump every quarter note which increases the note density of the file by a lot, limits patterns available, and creates some hidden 3-note 8th jacks. The melody is the way to go here instead of the jumpstream –the jumpstream is very bland here. [-2]

Time (Soular Order Remix) - 8/10
- Beginning of measure 9: You forgot to add the BPM gimmick here. That note is going to be at least 1 entire frame off.
- For the break that lasts Measures 31-46, you can start off with the offsetted jump but the rest should be single notes. This part is way too calm to be stepping jumps for that piano. Also watch out for the patterns you use in the 24th swing at the end of the file. Some of them are split-heavy and not nice to play through. [-1]
- If you’re going to apply the color theory you have in this file, you should change from cool colors to warm colors; that is, in the ending, you shouldn’t be using green and then orange, you should be using red and orange. It would express the change in the song more appropriately.

What You Are - 6/10
- The jump usage in this file lacks structure. There’s a mix of going to melody, then the vocalist, and then having seemingly random jumps. The hands are also very unnecessary. Find an element of the song to put more focus on. It would be better to work out something with the vocalist in the file while also introducing the melody or percussion at a later time. Also, remove the 16th minijacks. There seems to be a lot of “back-and-forth” going on in this file and it doesn’t go along well with the song. [-2]
- Stepping the piano’s offsetted 16th notes with the jumps creates short bursts and gallops that don’t fit with the song; the massive number of jumps and hands in this file limit creativity and available patterns for this file [-1]

White Eyes - 8/10
- Some more pattern variety would have been nice. [-2]
- While the song is slow paced, doubling the BPM makes it more player friendly and the song does have a decent amount of energy to it so in its current state the BPM works. [+1]
- Seconds 43.74, 43.60, 48.13, 58.01, etc.: Missing 4th to the melody you’re stepping throughout the entire file.

Ame to Asufaruto (Rain and Asphalt) – 6/10
- Your jump usage in measure 24 doesn’t make sense considering measure 25 also has a guitar 3/16th interval you could accent, so it feels incomplete. The jumps after to the cymbal crashes and guitar were good though. The jumps in the first half had a nice structure. [+1]
- Second 83.57: Missing 4th note to Miku’s vocals.
- Second 91.63, 93.84, 96.84: Missing notes to the piano.
- Cut ends abruptly; a fade out would have worked better.
- The patterns could use much more variation. I saw a lot of those short one-handed runningmen patterns and same patterns throughout the file and it makes the file bland.

TC_Halogen

32A5 (DarkZtar)
Rating: [+.] [7/10]

- very tricky rhythms for an easy file; the syncopation is actually hard to follow.
- because this song interchanges between 8th notes for the synthesized piano and the syncopation of the synthesized melody, the difficulty shifts up and down very quickly...
- nothing wrong with the file; a bit higher on the range of the Easy batch
- file proficiently follows the melody and has an organized structure, very queue-worthy

Ame no odoriko (asha remix)
Rating: [+] [9/10]

- a few slight PR issues, but nothing noticeably incorrect
- this file might be too hard for the Easy batch, but some verification would be nice to confirm... such a shame, because it's a great file

Ascending Hands (DossarLX ODI)
Rating: [+] [9/10]

- good for what it is; nothing incorrect about the rhythm or structure

Atop the World (VisD)
Rating: [+.] [7/10]

- very nice song
- the little grace-note accents are three notes a piece; 48ths are the best rhythm for this
- the flourish right at the end of the song has some slight rhythm issues

Bluebird (Silvuh)
Rating: [+] [8/10]

- teal 48ths for the faded/reversed samples was a great touch
- structure is correct, but is a bit tricky for an easier file because it uses combined layering which makes some instrument representation look inconsistent, despite being completely accurate.
- good file, regardless.

Cascata (DossarLX ODI)
Rating: [+] [8/10]

- for a file that's so easy, this has fantastic structure for a lower level file.
- The pattern usage was very nicely structured in the introduction in terms of pitch, but the ending left something to be desired in terms of relevance.
- still an awesome easy level file that brings a great song to listen to as well.

Chaoz Impact (Sweet Angel)
Rating: [?] [2/10]

- 16.779: the jumps don't have a direct purpose according to your structure, because 18.151, 19.522, and 20.893 don't have anything added other than the melody itself.
- because the song's pace kicks up after this point, the BPM should probably be doubled back to what the base BPM is (in this case, 175).
- 25.522/31.008: this note isn't part of the synthesized melody that you're following, it's actually a note for the bass -- it would be best to remove it
- 33.236/34.608/35.979/(etc): what purpose do these jumps serve? When working on charts (especially lower-difficulty charts), it's very important to be clear in what you are following; there's nothing notably repeating/accented every two beats in your chart.
- 43.179: this note seems out of place
- 44.208 to 46.951: same concept as 33.236 - what does the stream follow? Your jumps actually make sense in this context because they follow the accented areas of the melody, but the stream doesn't follow anything in a clear and understandable manner.
- 56.551 to 64.779: Another long stream that isn't clearly discernible.
- 56.551 to 64.779: ...also I understand the usage of repeated taps here, but what you're doing is bad practice -- you're accenting two different kinds of instruments with the same arrow; this feels correct, but is very noticeably off on a visual level. In many cases, your usage of jacks in this particular situation could be substituted with opposing jumps to not only give accenting power to instruments that are noticeably audible, but also to give separation of the two instruments.
- 77.122 to 88.093: jump usage isn't clear here -- if you're accenting the bass drums with jumps (77.636 has a bass drum, for example), you're missing many jumps (see: 78.665, 79.008, 81.408, 81.751, etc).
- 88.093 to 97.693: ghost streaming; nothing really running constantly here
- 88.093 to 97.693: also, your jump usage is arbitrary here. If the jumps are following the synthesized instrument that comes in 88.093, then a jump should exist on 90.151 (in addition to your correctly placed jump at 90.836), as well as 93.236. If not, then the jumps aren't serving any sort of purpose.
- 99.065 to 108.322: more jumps that don't clearly follow anything.
- chart has appropriate sync, but doesn't shift speed when necessary; structure needs work

Crucial (VisD)
Rating: [+] [8/10]

- 90.912: missed guitar note
- no major errors; structure is very clean and is coherent
- may be too hard for the Easy batch

Distant Shots (mi40)
Rating: [+?] [5/10]

- this is a really tough file to judge, because it is acceptable in terms of structure
- however, the wait of 40 seconds just to do 35 seconds where greater than 90% of the steps are just doesn't work to me.
- eh... not too sure.
- I would not be offended if you wanted another judge to take a look at this if you would like to appeal my rating, it is a really tough call for me personally.

Down With The Sickness (dore)
Rating: [+.] [7/10]

- hey, I wanted to chart this lol
- good patterning for the guitar/lyrics, but the jumps for the accented vocals look so strange, ahaha
- song is great for listening, but the file itself is a bit draggy due to the somewhat tamed pace
- I would love to see you make a harder file for this; I feel like you'd be the person that can do this justice better than anyone else...

Dreadnought [Standard] (bmah)
Rating: [+] [8/10]

- BNS at the end?
- initially, this file looked too hard for the batch; however, the patterns are quite forgiving in many areas

Eternity (Xx{Midnight}xX)
Rating: [+?] [5/10]

- it's quite obvious that you're trying to use pitch relevancy -- it could use a little bit of tweaking in a few areas
- the thing I'm having issues getting past is the extremely heavy layering, because it doesn't consistently represent a structure that would be acceptable for the given areas:
+ for example, 19.106 to 29.692 is mostly correct in terms of combined layering when accounting for the piano, high string and low strings (or high piano/low piano and strings as one cohesive instrument -- either way, the layering is sensibly done for both scenarios)
+ however, from 36.043 to 48.746, there's only a running melody with a chord that happens every beat, and every chord is accented as a triple, which would make your chart seem awkward compared to the previous section. In addition to this, there are some jumps in this sections that, if attempting to follow chords, should not exist (49.099 and 51.216, for example)
+ to things a bit more questionable, the section preceding this (52.980 to 69.917) completely omits the strings after returning, which makes the first section seem incorrect in a holistic sense; the layering doesn't seem to fluctuate in correspondence to the song whatsoever, it seemingly accents the piano as triples regardless of what is going on. This gives you less room to deviate your chart, which is really necessary for a song with a running melody that lasts this long...
+ in 52.980 to 69.917, there are some jumps that attempt to accent chords that do not exist (66.036, 68.153)
+ 88.971 to the end: there are instances where chords with three notes come in on 8th notes, but they fluctuate in and out of doubles/triples in your chart - merely a minor detail, but the accenting power within the notes is quite noticeable (listen to 90.030 [two note chord] and 94.264 [three note chord]
- throughout the entire chart, there are repeated taps that look like they should be corresponding to something that might be repeating, but no such thing exists; this is likely a by-product of the over-layering contained within the chart
- there's also an obvious rallentando (gradual slowdown) at the end of the song, so sync it properly

EXODUS on vocal ver (Silvuh)
Rating: [+.] [7/10]

- the changing from really prominent instruments to very subtle percussion changes is quite distracting/awkward in some places (18.898, 21.897/30.894, 33.893)
- the occasional filling of rhythms with percussion is improperly structured rhythmically (24.896/48.889)
- combined layering near the end looks a bit wonky with an intentionally tame chart, but it's not horribly distracting during play
- song actually dragged a bit for me personally

farscape (storn42)
Rating: [?] [3/10]

- relevance in pitch can be improved a bit, but it's certainly acceptable
- white note usage is actually quite tastefully done
- 38.258 to 53.025: this section seems so out of place with all of the jumps
- 60.410 to 75.178: these patterns actually do fit quite nicely because of the way the melody scales, but the change in the repeating tap placement makes it a bit less effective in serving the purpose of condensing the run in the way you might want
- 81.777: these jumps don't serve a direct purpose -- it seems like they're accenting the bass drum only because the melody has stopped playing, which is an inconsistency in its own right considering that instrument runs constantly (same deal at 88.561)
- 91.542: if this 192nd is supposed to accent the dissonant/separated note that is audible, it should be closer to the 4th note
- 95.234: this 192nd should just be removed, though
- 99.205: this 64th as well
- 110.262: missing 192nd for an echo that you followed just before (and after)
- 119.482 to 132.462: any 32nds that exist here need to be moved up 1/32nd of note to have proper rhythm. The 24th note jump should probably be a 4th note as well.
- 178.036: move the 32nds up a 1/32nd of a note
- 206.707: see: 81.777
- 230.243 to 245.011: all 32nds need to be shifted up a 16th;
- rhythmic representation within the chart needs work -- the song is also quite long

Five Karots (mi40)
Rating: [+.] [7/10]

- every chart that I play from you, I have to yell at you about PR, lol
- you're picking such delicate songs that demand detail
- layering is fine; a few ambiguous jumps for open hi-hats/rides that look a little strange, but the chart plays well regardless

Help Me Find My Child or the Gold (DossarLX ODI)
Rating: [+] [8/10]

- nothing really wrong with the chart, patterns are quite index-friendly
- seems a bit tough, but it's hard to judge because your patterns are surprisingly forgiving
- 89.947/92.427: should be five 16th notes in a row
- rhythms and layering check out

Hoot [AREIA Remix] (DarkZtar)
Rating: [+] [9/10]

- very good!
- the transitions from the claps on beats 2 and 4 to the accented vocals near the end of the song are seamless, very well done
- On another note, I personally appreciate that you opted out of the swing for an easier chart; swing really boosts difficulty on songs quite a bit

Kaepora Gaebora's Message (axith)
Rating: [+.] [6/10]

- pitch relevance is actually done well in this file, however, you have issues with pattern collision; your pitch relevance is causing accidental repeated taps
- the layering is acceptable, but questionable because it's not fully accounting for all of the percussion; because you have jumps every beat, the structure is clean -- it's not fully correct, though.
- 55.906: avoid chaining like this unless an instrument definitively repeats twice
- short song, but it's not bad at all. If you just make your accenting a bit more clearly by cleaning up the accidental mini-jacks, this would be a great addition to FFR. Potentially acceptable as is.

Kirlian Isles I (mi40)
Rating: [+.] [6/10]

- because you're following only the violin/cellos and nothing else, you should really do your best to base your sync off of those instruments, rather than having a mess of colored arrows.
- pitch relevance could use improvement -- song is quite detailed in its melodies and should definitely have good representation
- minor pattern collision at 89.208 that causes an accidental repeated tap

Midnight (TC_Halogen)
Rating: [#] [NA/10]

- own file

Nekomimi Switch (Xx{Midnight}xX)
Rating: [+?] [5/10]

- 3.110 to 15.110: patterns seem quite shuffled around despite a defined melody in place; at least the jumps to the snares are correct
- 15.110 to 39.110: PR could use some re-working (15.485, 16.235, 21.485, 22.235, etc. are diferent than the notes immediately before them, yet are represented as same taps - this occurs quite a bit)
- 39.110 to 51.110: doesn't seem like there's any real relevance; with the exception of the jumps for snares, the patterns seem randomized and placed with little effort
- combined layering works for the ending, but the piano is noticeably incorrect in some areas in terms of representation (79.985 using generally ascending patterns during a descending melody, 85.610 misses the repeating piano phrasing, etc)
- ending plays the same as areas mentioned without jump relevance
- file is quite bland/boring because there's nothing to really pay attention to, since there's very little detail
- rhythm is correct, and layering is respectable, but that's about it

Pink Fluffy Unicorns Dancing on Rainbows (YoshL)
Rating: [+.] [7/10]

- bazqF
- I...
- repetitive as hell but it makes sense
- pitch relevancy is well done - slight tweaking can be done to account for appropriate descensions like 8.671 by doing 24214, but your pattern works for the sake of combination
- no idea how this will be perceived, but it's properly executed rhythmically and structurally, along with containing appropriate detail to boot

Pure Innocent Skirt (Doug31)
Rating: [+?] [4/10]

- offset was changed to have the first note start at 3.339
- check rhythms at the start; the last two 16th notes need to be shifted down a 16th (after changing offset, notes at 4.512/4.773 should be at 4.642/4.903)
- 33.719: note needs to be moved down a 16th
- 57.189: note needs to be moved down a 16th
- 65.534: note needs to be moved down a 16th
- 71.532 to 72.315: notes need to be shifted up a 16th
- 136.857: missing note for the piano you accented
- BPM is incorrect; chart drifts slightly late
- chart doesn't have a strong structure -- jumps are occasionally used in a strange manner; there's also areas of empty space that can easily be filled

Reading for Days (Xiz)
Rating: [++] [10/10]

- Leaps and bounds ahead of the previous version...
- I am seriously crossing my fingers that this is within the acceptable difficulty range... I think it is, but I'm not 100% sure...

Rule of Threes (TheSaxRunner05)
Rating: [+.] [6/10]

- pitch relevance is spot on
- layering, however, is not. There are instances in the beginning where there are jumps for notes that are the same dynamic/volume as others that are single, and these notes are not chords musically, either.
- 135.692: this pattern seems more fit mirrored listening to the accented notes going 4321234 in pitch, haha
- overall, file isn't bad, but it does have moments where it seems quite unfocused; it also has moments where it's accenting things very strangely (the phrase at 103.481 was... interesting...)
- in terms of composition, this song is actually not bad. Unfortunately, the quality of the pianos needs improvement though -- I would be willing to improve the quality of the pianos if you have a .MID file.

Shade (Xx{Midnight}xX)
Rating: [+] [8/10]

- 25.180: watch your grace note placement, as the detail in the rhythm isn't linear (in this instance, the grace note occurs before the beat, at 25.125); the grace note immediately after this is correct
- 27.827: same as 25.180, the grace appears 1/32nd before the actual on-beat note, and like last time, the second one is also correct; double-check other instances and fix them with their appropriate rhythms -- these are very minor errors
- pitch relevance is correct for the most part
- layering is clean and understandable
- repeating pattern at the end was a nice touch
- miles ahead of your other submissions

Something's Not Right (Gradient)
Rating: [+] [9/10]

- very well done
- PR is visually noticeable
- layering is accurate and utilizes dynamic changes for triple accents, a nice touch
- rhythms check out, and sync is good
- no complaints!

Sunshine rainy (bmah)
Rating: [+] [9/10]

- very good file!
- carries the traditional characteristics of a great bmah file, minus the on-cue mega-spike that enrages the FFR community and sends them into a mob mentality that synchronously considers lynching him
- tests rhythms but keeps layering tame, all of the rhythms are sensible, and difficulty increases in very appropriate spots.

Taking Wing (Xiz)
Rating: [+.] [6/10]

- first half of the file was really well done
- second half... eh? All of the relevance disappeared and the file got relatively boring/generic.
- I doubt it matters, because this is probably too hard for the batch.

Time (Soular Order Remix) (VisD)
Rating: [+] [8/10]

- ah, so this is the file you wanted the trick on?
- it's utilized quite well; very light color following a really mild string pad
- the subtle PR in the lower-end strings is noticeable and is a great touch; those repeating taps flow very nicely with the occasional 16th note blips
- why did you opt out of the swing in the first half but actually utilize it in the second half? The progression is sensible, but it's considerably more difficult to handle swing than to handle a constant/even rhythm.
- file is well done overall

What You Are (bmah)
Rating: [+] [9/10]

- excellent file, but...
- might be a bit too hard for the batch. It gets quite dense in the later half of the song.

White Eyes (DarkZtar)
Rating: [+.] [7/10]

- a few slight PR errors exist, but they're not daunting/horribly distracting
- 57.625: move this down a 4th to 57.991, or keep this note and add the note at 57.991
- 69.332: move this down a 4th to 69.698, or keep this note add add the note at 69.698
- 81.405: ^, etc -- same thing; this error happens a few more times
- chart is fine, seems to drag a bit though

Rating: 5/10 [+?]
- structure doesn't seem to appropriately change with the song; file is very repetitive, despite the song not being repetitive at all
- a few ghosted notes exist within the file
- more care can be taken to improve the overall pattern choices, as it's quite bland
- sync and rhythms are correct, for the most part
