Dance games are actually adult games.
To elaborate:
- Most active DDR players are people in their 20s or 30s. When you see a group of people at a DDR A machine, it is more likely most if not all of them are 18+.
- Locations with DDR A machines are usually far away, meaning the gas money itself to travel can add up quickly.
- Getting your own home setup/pads is expensive. Usually it requires a person to have adequate space to allow for a pad in the first place.
The inaccessibility, in addition to how expensive it is, makes dance games more oriented towards an adult crowd. Round 1 and Dave and Busters both have bars as well.
