You deflecting in a manner that suggest you would hold both sides equally accountable when that's not super evident in prior actions comes off as.....well deflecting.

It's perfectly reasonable to say the Biden point was a little too off topic and you wanted to highlight the whistleblower but like, you didn't bro--you'd been off that topic for several post top IIRC so I don't see where I'm crossing the line in pointing out that I don't think that's a particularly good response to make.

Edit: the brain cancer analogy is really bad here. You can't force public opinion, vote out, or make life affecting laws with cancers man.
