Nursery Rhymes
So we're writing poems in literature. We were assigned to do a poem about an animal. Now usually I'd just write a crappy Tanka or free verse poem that takes no thought, but this poem came pretty naturally to me and I got it down in no time.
Oh Piggy
Oh Piggy, oh piggy
I love you a lot
You roll in the mud
When it gets too hot
Oh piggy, my piggy
You're chubby and pink
You're God's best creation
Well that's what I think
Oh piggy, oh piggy
I wish I had more
Only a fool would
Resist to adore
Oh piggy, my piggy
You seem to be great
You'll be even better
Once served on a plate
Well now I have poem fever. I feel like writing a set of limericks about two kids and a tree with a corny twist at the end, kind of like this poem. I'll post on this thread soon.
