Honestly, I'm not sure how many people have already submitted their entries-- but considering all of her fans (including all of her deviantart ones), and by looking at some of the entries, I'd say there's at least 50 already. The contest actually doesn't end until early January, but I'm hoping to get a lot of votes much earlier than that.

The contest is actually open worldwide-- so people from all different countries are entering! It's pretty cool.
