What if you couldn't reconstruct the human conscious but you could for other living things? Wherein, the teleported person was just a lobotomized husk. Does that help prove a soul?

Could you then mathematically prove the soul, compensate for it, then teleport that, too?

Either way, I'm not volunteering to go first.
