megaman is infinitely more childish and also infinitely more for adults than mario is because of the trolly and terrible game design
these games aren't "for kids", they're "for everyone" and that means having attributes that allow for young'uns to enjoy them too. You're just too stuck on those to realize that games can be for more than one kind of person

why is me thinking "i think this is bad but i understand why kids would like it" objective?
