Yes, but indirectly. It affects how the game works instead of making the timing window smaller or larger. So, 30 fps and 55 fps should have the same timing window, but 55 fps should be easier to score on in theory because the game should be more fluid which is helpful for chaining patterns and getting a feel of the game.

So then in theory 60fps should result in a better score, but it's worse for majority of players. What causes that transition? That to me is confirmation that frame rate is not an indirect cause of accuracy issues, but a direct cause.
