I think the best model for this kind of thing would be one lecturer <-> one student at any given moment, because stepmania university lecturer is not a full time job position and we shouldn't expect herculean, consistent effort

all the conversation and files/wips from said one to one association could be released as it happens (if the student is ok with it) and it could be used as a teaching point for others
