Yeah it did have a different style from the other games, but I think gaming companies need to do that more often. It was a fresh idea at the time, so they jumped on it. It wasn't a bad one either. Even if fans were a bit upset that their traditional RPG styled game is gone, I still enjoyed the new system.

Yea and still had the paper effects. If anything I noticed from the first Paper Mario yea it was mostly paper but chairs and tables and other immovable objects you could tell werent paper. Then Thousand Year Door Mario moved more like Paper, and Super Paper Mario almost everything was paper. Even the objects. Which you could tell from flipping. They used the background more often to, like getting into Hooktails Castle. The idea was amazing. Adding stickers now is going to seem like I'm playing on a notebook :O
