Default Where I peaked..

So I have been playing for ~4 to 5 years here.

I play 3 fingers, index LEFT, middle UP/DOWN, ring RIGHT.

I read that this way is the hardest to master and has its downsides like in many of the higher difficulty songs which are basically designed for 4 finger play.

I do well in Tricky songs and peak basically at Tricky/Difficult barrier.

Are there any tips (aside from changing playstyle) to facilitate any increase in skill?

Not too long ago I could not do half steps (so I basically was doing good in Standard, bad in Tricky), but now I am very much able to do faster staircases to an extent.

What really hurts me is where doubles (jumps?) are cropped together with half notes and others.

Im very much impressed in how far I have come since I started though

I'd like to add, the way I was able to improve was in songs where I KNEW I wouldn't be able to hit a step, I'd try it. And it allowed me to get faster. I also tried the trick of increasing step speed so that you work faster and that also helped.
