I haven't encountered this error before using R^3, but considering it's happened to a few players that is enough to bring it up as a serious bug. Small edited snippet of the bug:

This message supposedly pops up during a song and lags the engine which interferes with ingame plays. I'm not sure what criteria the engine uses to determine this (ping requests or whatever) but it should not happen during gameplay.
Also I should clarify that a bug, in broadest terms, can refer to a piece of functionality that shouldn't be there. This piece of functionality should not happen during playing a song.
