My main SM client currently loads 17307 songs in 408 groups. From a cold boot SM5 loads all this in about 3 minutes and 25 seconds, and 25 seconds from a reopen. Note however that I am loading this from a USB 2.0 external hard drive, so most people should load way faster than me. My main songs folder is 84.7GB currently, which is why I moved it off the main drive in the first place.
