For a more comfortable playing style, ditch the fgth setup and switch to spread (QWOP, ASL;,ZX,. etc.)

If you're having difficulties reading the denser charts, gradually increase your speed mod in increments of .5 at the very least (until you reach a speed of at least 1.75x)
ie. increase speed mod by .5 every two days of play (...1.5 > 1.55 > 1.60 > 1.65... etc.)

If you're looking for better accuracy, you should take a break from FFR and try training with stepmania (it has a more precise system of judging accuracies).

Above all, just practice and repetition is they key to succeed in just about anything.
