Well it later worked for macgravel; he playtested it of course.

The mechanism for the effect at the middle of the file is to have freeze arrows shrink their length and stuff. To have this effect occur means that I am basically teleporting the player from one set of freeze arrows to another in milliseconds in thousands of occasions successively (where each set of freeze arrows have increasingly smaller lengths). The teleportation occurs via a combination of negative bpms and implemented stops. Anyhow, if the SM simulator you use cannot process automatic hits on the freeze arrows by only holding those arrows down, it'll fail you out because it would otherwise expect you to hit hundreds of arrows in succession (jacks) in fractions of a second.
tl;dr whether the trick works or not depends on how the arrows are registered from negative BPM skips
