Default Re: League of Legends

normals dont indicate ranked elo at all im sorry dudes

according to that doublelift and all 2200+ pros should have insane winrates but they dont

the game matchmaking rating system is actually well designed to put you where you actually belong, although there may be some kinks

ex. cbr is at 1100 after 150 games but was 1300+ in first 20 games. basically this is evened out MMR, and eric's true ELO is around 1100 (at this very moment)

but the more games you play and the better you get it'll rise for sure

(once again people dont take normals seriously, normals are a really bad indicator of ranked skills/true ELO)

people who say "i should be at this elo" are wrong

the matter of fact is if you TRULY belong in 1600 you will be able to get there over the course of say, 100 ~ 200 ranked games

this is because the MORE games you play, the more EVEN your MMR actually becomes, and if your skill was truly 1600 your MMR would slowly rise over the course of 50-100 games

if you're not 1600, you won't get to 1600

there are people who've played like 1000+ ranked matches and are 1300, and people with 1000+ ranked matches while being 2200

this is because in general their true skill is around their ELO, thats how the MMR system works

my top rating is 1546 but my ranked record is only 11 win 2 loss
my true ELO hasnt settled in yet (i would have to play at least 50-60 more games)
so ya i could be 1100, i could be 1300, i could be 1500, i could be 1700 but i'm definitely UNSURE of my elo at this moment

but ya if ur elo is XXXX after 70+ games then that's prob where you're at rite now
