I think I suggested doing that a while ago. Basically you add up the points for the highest requirement you achieve on each song, right? So if you can meet a 4-point requirement, you get 4 points, not say 10 (4+3+2+1). I think the regular tier points work like this, so these should be the same.

But yeah, you get 4 points, not 10. Notice how Zaggy and 8 Hour Whore were crushed upon learning that they didn't have very many TPs.
