Only things keeping me afloat are my supportive friends and my loving partner. A lot lately, it's been quite challenging for me to find enjoyment in my life but thankfully I have a supportive group of people to keep me company.
I really do hope this will all pass sooner than later. It's frustrating to tolerate so much irrationality, selfishness, and greed nowadays.

I totally relate to the family thing. Mine are quite disappointed with me, and it still stings sometimes; however, they can also fuck off with that noise. I also recently left a job that I felt miserable at (I liked the job and was good at it [rare] but the culture there sucked). I should have stayed at that job career-wise I think, but I have too low of a tolerance for bullshit. So for what it's worth, you're probably more resilient than I am for dealing with an annoying boss.
I'm glad you have people in your corner who support you.

yeah just tryna live in high school, not treating it like some "my only goal is to survive" thing

I started going back to the gym recently too. Progress is an ass to wait for, but working out really helps with mental health
Also grats on having friends LOL but really though. I'm sure you hear this all the time, but high school won't really matter down the line. The important thing really is to survive.

how do you work if you're 14. if i were you though i would work. omg having money while being a kid. brooooo. then you can save up and get a car when you're 16 and ride around???
It's also okay if you don't know what you wanna do. Really. Even if you might think you know you could be wrong. When I was your age I thought I was gonna be a doctor. 12 years later and that's not happening :P
However, if you're considering college, actually think about how you're gonna pay for it. That's way more important IMO than knowing how your path's gonna look

I'm 32, getting married in a week and a half, have a rly good job and a house in a NB suburb surrounded by hick French people. Life's pretty good tbh. I'm almost at a point where I can start helping others which would be ideal.
I also got 2 bunnies last year

I wrote music for three short films all within a months time. One of them won best documentary at my university's film festival and will be one of five chosen to be shown in LA
Might have a Zoom meeting with one or even two Hollywood film music orchestrators in hopes that I can start making *real* money soon
Getting promoted at my job, can't complain since the pay is minimal but I get paid to just sit all day and assist students with basic computer stuff
Still unsure if I'm destined to stay in Miami or move to LA for work but I'm keeping options open
|
your life seems so cool man i've been creeping your fb. i'm happy for you
potentially moving to LA sounds big though!

why are you getting an mba specifically? i'm also doing (nearly) all of my master's online which is GREAT
as for the noise thing if it's something that can be addressed I'd speak with your housemates about it. better than eventually hating them eh?
