Just one! My parts just came in to mod it, that's what's on the left. White shell w/black buttons and the backlit display is in the plastic case underneath it. Also have the soft case from amazon and "Game Boy" patch from a seller on etsy.
About a decade ago I had the bright idea to try and clean it with nail polish remover, it did too good of a job (read melted the plastic/smeared the text) and I shamefully stashed it away until recently. The plan is to make a video documenting the process!
