This is more of an abstract thought, but I think the ability to rally people behind your cause, even if you have low confidence, is one of the most important skills in this game. There wasn't a whole lot of town leadership this game (suntan came close) and chaos took over.
Being correct doesn't matter if you can't get others to follow your will
