Do you have a bank? A lot of banks have online resources that can at least serve as primers for financial topics.

I used to work for a nonprofit that taught about homeownership in lower SES communities, and they would have local seminars that told people how to prepare for purchasing homes, mortgaging, etc. Maybe there are some of those nearby where you live. Most of their resources came directly from HUD. Granted most of it was America-centric but might still be useful in a more abstract sense.
