Default Re: Official Tournament Special Batch

There was no need for anyone to ping me because I was the only one really responsible for not getting shit done. Kayla and I have been exceptionally busy outside of FFR-related duties trying to make various ends meet and it seems like at the moment, things might be coming to a good end at least on my side. I've wanted to do it, but not... really.

As far as the other questions: administrators and event staff have no carrying on the official tournament when it comes to management. The only time they typically help is for little side events when given clearance to do so — this is due in part to requiring accesses that most users don't have for tournament placement and management.

There was no public announcement because it simply didn't happen. That was just irresponsibility on my part, especially when I knew that the burnout was coming and basically did nothing about it. I'm either going to figure out how to handle that burnout by trying to hit the batch head-on in the near future, or if I physically cannot do it, I'll essentially place myself as an "appellate" judge, where I'll assess the scores and give really quick passover glances at other notes just to ensure that they're well scaled and fair.

I've not checked all 21 of the remaining files, but one thing that I can say is this with regards to the tournament batch: a good majority of the files are a bit on the more difficult side and I expect those remaining files to fall in same line. I expect some of them to be used, but the ones that are not used will likely fall into a regular queue and be pulled only if absolutely necessary (e.g. reserved for a tiebreaker).
