Default Re: New Songs! Coming?

You're making assumptions about the flow of content, the availability of said content, and additionally making implications about there being large reserves of files where content can be released at a much higher rate. All of that is incorrect.

You continue to refer to the content creators of the game as "developers", when the developers of the game and the site themselves have nothing to do with neither the process of content creation nor the judgment process.

You keep mentioning that we receive more than two song submissions every two weeks. The submission process is something that occurs in two-month cycles, where after every two months, files are judged accordingly. At that point, files are quality checked to determine whether or not they are good enough to be placed into a queue for release. There is no "cron job" auto-release of two songs every two weeks. Acting like you have some sort of developmental insight on some automated system is not going to help any sort of argument that you have when you're struggling to understand the submission and judgment processes in the first place.

Let me reiterate this as well: I am not a developer for the FFR website/game engines (though I may have an interest in this in the near future). I am someone who creates content for the game and I am a part of the process to determine what files go into the game, and what is required to be reworked on.

You're also talking down to a user who has been a part of the community for a long time, and while they might not have any content in the game at the moment, they have gone through the submission and judgment process. Opkiller is not, under any circumstance, oblivious to the process.

Finally: you need to stop trying to incite some sort of staff response to increase the release rate of files with your unfamiliarity of the process. Yes, the file release rate has temporarily slowed down. There are reasons for it, and the rate will increase and resume soon.
