I'm taking both those classes in the following semesters actually (linear algebra + intermediate macroeconomics)
we're taught in Java atm, but doing software development in assembly/C/Unix. The classes that apparently make or break your degree here are
-Discrete Mathematics
-Algorithms II
-Assembly Language
-Operating Systems
except I'm really digging the first algorithms class rn but I also have a prof who's hype as FUCK about everything he teaches so that might be it.
also @Celirra what I love about universities that offer software engineering as a degree is that there are such cool classes offered that we don't get. Our program literally combines comp sci and soft eng together but a lot of more engineering courses are restricted to computer/electrical engineering.
