Just do what I wish I did more, were you just imagine how your beat/song would play out and try to bring the concept to life by rhythming it out on your lap or record yourself crooning the melody to transcribe :V that to me at least musically is prob the best way to "make" some thing.

edit: and if nothing else there is always remixing 8), I myself haven't done a "serious" production in a while, I'm busy atm trying to re conceptualize and restructure bridges in the sky to remix tonight, but I might fall on my ass cause likely still not worthy of such a challenge aka lazy
