There was some update that was changed and yeah I had to fiddle with those options to make the "credentials" right. I've never used the credentials option before, pass option stopped working even when I changed the pass again to something else.

If you are using xsplit go into your general settings and update your twitch stream to link your twitch account code if that's the only option (which it was for me at least). find the twitch account code on your twitch account somewhere -_-

Anyway my problem was definitely not that.

EDIT: btw is twitch chat working for anyone else?
