Well, sup. We're here to help you out with a new tournament that's got a little end-of-summer ~TrOpiCaL FLaVa!!i!~

(also known as the *silliest, saxiest* end-of-summer tourney extravaganza of beautiful tropical things and hula dancing and other stuff too. Sax and I decided that was too long, sad times)

Moving on. I (ohsosilly) am leaving this September to teach English on a small tropical island next to Africa for an entire year. (Part of the inspiration for ze tropical theme ^^). As such, I will no longer be able to play FFR, so TheSaxRunner05 and I are teaming up to run a tourney so I can give all my creddies away and have one last FFR tourney hoorah. Also Sax is amazing and runs awesome tournaments :monkey: Get ready, because in this tourney, we'll have tropical sponcons, games and the opportunity to win some extra prizes at the end of the tournament as well, so stay tuned!

RULES/SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
1. NO CHEATING. Players caught using bots, having someone play on their account, entering on multiple accounts, etc. will be automatically removed from the tournament.

2. Respect fellow tourney players and hosts. Let's not make *trouble in paradise* mmk? huehuehue but SERIOUSLY. Don't do it. Disrespect will have you removed as well.

3. Do not discuss division placements in the thread. Just PM us! I get really excited about getting PMs, plz don't kill mah PM joy <3 If you have an issue with a placement, let us know.

4. Screenshots must be submitted in the traditional fashion. If you are using a standalone, we need to see the username/time display at the top of a browser page. If you need more help on how to take a screenshot, click dat spoiler. Beginners, feel free to PM Sax or me if you are still unsure of how to do it! Screenshots are the only accepted form of submission. Should you save over a screenshot, we will only accept a replay if you accompany it with a screenshot of your last 10 games played that includes a timestamp. Otherwise, we cannot accept your submission.

This tournament will be four weeks long. (In other words, it'll last about as long as the typical tourney! Woopwoop) Signups will begin right meow and will last until the end of Round 1. The tournament will start on Sunday, August 5 at 5 p.m. server time.

Here it is, the final round. That moment when even though the sun is blazing and file difficulties are heating up, and you’re near the point of exhaustion and you just hate all these stupid files dammit how could they pick Lolo last round those jerks this sentence has officially become a run-on oh no dehydration setting in gawd. Long story short, you want to be on top. This is it. The time is meow.

Signups are now closed~ TOURNAMENT FORMAT (please read, this ain't yo typical format) : This tournament will aim determine the overall WELL-ROUNDEDNESS of players in each division. As opposed to having one song for each round, participants will have to take on FOUR* songs for each round that will challenge their abilities with various patterns (jumpstream, jacks, etc.) with rounds lasting an ENTIRE WEEK to give you time to play/improve on all four songs. There will be four rounds. This is an ELIMINATION tournament. The RAW SCORE of all four songs will be totaled for each round to determine who moves on. (We'll give you guys a break from dat Official combo scoring.) May the most multi-skilled player win!! Also, only songs from the FFR engine will be used for this tournament - no additional engines.
