That sucks. When using laptops try using your numpad (if yours has one), and if that does not work try some of the letter keys.
Barring that, if you think it's worth the investment (maybe for spread) you can try and get a USB keyboard with normal-sized keys.

korny did - he used the numpad (2/4/6/0) and his thumb in addition to his index, middle and ring fingers. RB_Quackies did the same, and irionman did as well (he used his pinky though).
