If anyone is willing to either: 1- Send me a step by step "how-to guide" on how to properly install a background onto my profile -OR- 2- Chat with me on AIM and walk me through it...

I have the basic editing skills down I just want to know how to get rid of the black...bar I guess it is that surrounds my avatar and the box where my rank is.(I mean on my profile)...I put a background on my profile but the "black bar" goes right through the picture....check out my profile and you'll see what I mean

Please note that background's temporary I know it's all out of whack, I'm simply using it for reference purposes. THANKS!
