I'll be honest, it seems silly to move people past round 1. The whole basis of the placements is 'We did the best job we could, and there are discrenpencies, but they're unavoidable because if you fix one you create another'.
Changing someone's division after round 1 just seems contradictory to that.
And it seems the only reason people are complaining is because there are prizes and it's easier to win a prize in a lower division than in a higher division. It
should be an honor to be moved up to another division, but because it's synonymous with 'removing that person's chances of winning', it's treated like a death wish.
Solution: Remove all prizes (or everyone in one division)
But seriously, in a perfect world everyone would just be happy we're having another Tournament, I never thought this day would come <3

and another solution would be to give some incentive to be in a higher division, but that seems like too much work.
