Motherboards with SATA connections always have an EIDE connection too. But, an older motherboard with EIDE won't have SATa.

Its not exactly a new computer, its just newer than the one I have now but all in all its a better computer judging by the hardware. Its not that much newer but Im assuming that they both eide hard drives
