I think it happens when you're new to something and you play it for hours upon end.

I started playing Halo 3 LOTS a few months ago. When I was falling asleep one of the nights, my mind began fabricating combat scenarios, thinking, and making quick decisions (as I would in actual gameplay). One of my dreams was basically a series of random Halo 3 encounters that my mind made up. (Edit: Reason? Some say dreams are of your day, but reconfigured, and if all you do is the game, voila.)

Anything you do way to much will follow you everywhere.

Wow. I couldn't stop laughing at the Halo 3 scenario xD

And yeah, I used to play DDR a lot back like 2 years ago.
I quit for a while though.
