Re: Stepping for Piano

Good advice if I've ever heard it. :P I might have the Liebeslied done by friday, at the rate I'm going. It's a much more technical file. XD I was also thinking of doing Ravel's La Gaspard de la...

Re: Stepping for Piano

Cut to a more reasonable length and without the runningman at the end, that nocturne could be a decent introduction file. Who knows, maybe it will still be too boring.

Re: Stepping for Piano

You know, writing files that are consistently energetic and fun throughout is great for the music DDR was invented for: dance music. That's great and stuff, and I suppose that's what people want out...

Re: Stepping for Piano

I agree completely. Liebeslied is my priority now, and I know there are two Chopin etudes on here already (Op. 10 no. 9) and the Black Key etude. I could do Ocean, or a chart for Revolutionary that's...

Re: Stepping for Piano

Thank you for your input! I've never used sub-beats before, so I'll need to brush up on those before I remake the file. Again, thank you!

Re: Stepping for Piano

No.

I think I will definitely keep writing for myself, because it's an interesting project to continue. I would love to hear what I did wrong with my old file, though. Consensus was that it...

Stepping for Piano

Blah blah, introduction and greetings.

A while back, I made a 4key chart to a Chopin Nocturne (No. 2 in Eb, Op. 9), and spent a long, hard time on DDReam trying to sync each beat to the score and...

Re: [4key] Chopin, Nocturne No.2 in Eb; entitled 'PLEASE ACTUALLY GIVE ME FEEDBACK

Well, I'm not exactly sure what would qualify as a 'good performance' of this piece. Ashkenazy is certainly virtuosic
(I personally appreciate his interpretation), but there are so many different...

Re: [4key] Chopin, Nocturne No.2 in Eb; entitled 'PLEASE ACTUALLY GIVE ME FEEDBACK

Thanks for your input. How much of your boredom was from the song, and how much from the steps?

[4key] Chopin, Nocturne No.2 in Eb; entitled 'PLEASE ACTUALLY GIVE ME FEEDBACK

Preface: I have had 0% success getting people to review this chart for me. XD I blame this on the fact that I don't really know anybody. Anyways.

The song:...

Re: "Play/Test/Judge my simfile" thread V2

Hmm. This is a good place. I like it.

Song Name: Chopin Nocturne No. 2 in E Flat, Op. 9
Style: 4key
Length: 4:03, weird cutoff at the end (WIP)
Difficulty: Ignore what I put. It's the Med [9]...

Decca Records, Permissions.

It might even be stupid for me to even ask, but has ANYONE had experience with Decca as far as permissions gets? I mean really, like 90% of all LPs/CDs of classical music in the existence of ever...
