i'm guessing that this issue is exclusive to my theme? try moving my theme out of your stepmania directory—it should then load the default theme. If it doesn't, then the issue is on the stepmania...

This feature is already available in the 5.1 builds of StepMania, with the NewField. It's called Zoom, and it basically acts the same way as mini but instead of 10%, 20%, 30% etc, it's 0.95, 0.9,...
