This is how FFR used to be for everyone. Before there was scroll speed options, it was 1x speed for everyone, and we would cut off the bottom half or 75% in order to get the simulation of a faster...

Blast Corps is an amazing game. You should play it, regardless. Yes, getting all 57 platinums is really hard, but whether or not it's in the caliber of the GnG, Battletoads, etc... probably below.

Another thought... if you're not getting a challenge from beating games, why not go for speedrunning? Try besting some of the stuff on SDA or working on a game not on their list. Solid community...
