All difficulties assume spread play. It's the direction the game took and it's a necessity to stay coherent with that. The only reason index might be considered in difficulty is if a song's hardest...

I have to agree with rushy here, I dont see the point/addition of using dan? The concept seems as arbitrary as divisions and limits the passage requirements to a few files (courses).

Just a heads up, I can mostly fiddle with the website for now. We need to have the game engine mostly migrated (not the case yet) before I can deal with that. :)

This is the second problem. As it was said a few times, there are a bunch of files which are hard AAAs but easy SDGs, and that breaks the current system.

Not only people will play many files outside their range, but the feeling of progression also dies and I feel like that isnt suitable for a tourney as is.

Also doesnt that system makes it so the upper half of R1 which ends on lower half of R2 will play against...
