Face it, Sony's strength has been dwindling since the plague of failing PS2s. Their decision to go with Blu-ray for "future-proofing", saying it will last at least two extra generations, is an absurd...

DDR ran on the old PSX just fine. I'd assume, being a scrolling rhythm game, that Guitar Hero would work quite well.

There is no FFVII, redxiii. That video was only made to show off the PS3's graphics and make fanboys squeal. If you look very carefully, at the end of the video, it says "Technical Demo For PS3". ...

Interesting that you say that, seeing as all the dualshock is is a modified Super NES controller. Heck, the original Playstation controller was only the Super NES controller with two extra shoulder...

False. You and Afro are both wrong. Sony did not pioneer the CD on a home console. Seven consoles used CDs before Sony PlayStation came onto the market.

I think their plan was to lose money with this system, if only to market blu-ray. I'm dead serious about this -- they'll literally LOSE money every time they sell a PS3, even at $600. The hardware...

The PS3 one gets six degrees of tilt. The Wii controller can detect position, pitch, and motion. And you know what's funny? The PS3 tilt sensor was implemented AFTER the Wii...

Sony getting better at reliability? Hah! I had a regular Sony tube TV for not even 10 years... guess what? Every 20 seconds or so, the screen would go blank for 5 seconds, not to mention that it...

I'll be waiting at least a year. Maybe longer, if that must-have game (like KH was for the PS2) has yet to show after that time.

Oh, and if it is $500-$600, I won't buy it until they slash that...
