It helps because the accuracy timing is different. Not just because the judge is higher, but because it seems you have to be more precise. (even if SM is on Judge 2, you still have to hit pretty much...

If you're in a slump where you can't increase your PA, play Stepmania and work on your MA. It helps. Trust me. You can't increase FFR's judge, but you can SM's. :D

Just thought I would share that.
